On the 7th of April, 2021 Delaire embarked on its first Familiarisation Trip (FAM) in the midst of all fear and scare of COVID-19 which is going around. A total of seven travel consultants joined them for the Fam to Svatma in Thanjavur Tamil Nadu.
The Fam was for 2 nights and 3 days with experiences within the property such as early morning yoga, Vedic chanting, Carnatic music concert and also visiting the tallest Shiva temple in the world (Brihadeeswara temple also known as Big Temple), and visiting the Maratha Palace of Raja Seforji of the Maratha Empire, experiencing how the world-famous Thanjavur paintings are made and how bronze sculpting is done in local houses along with how the beautiful instrument Veena is made.
A place of pure culture and heritage truly, Svatma also mesmerized the guests with their food (the Thanjavur thali with their 8-course dinner, the Maratha Thali and so on).
Svatma also made the travel consultants enjoy the services of their two spas, Soukyam (the Body spa) and their signature Sound Spa – Swaram. The trip was truly an experience to cherish for the travel trade experts.
