The Philippines Tourism India Office concludes its 6-City Itinerary Training Workshop Series across Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata. The initiative aims to strengthen destination understanding, product knowledge and itinerary planning capability among India’s travel trade community. Conducted on 7 November 2025, the workshops recorded participation from more than 60 key trade partners in each city, including tour operators, travel agents and MICE specialists.
The programme is designed to promote the Philippines as a versatile destination for Indian travellers, highlighting beaches, island experiences, adventure activities, culinary heritage and cultural attractions. The workshops also provide itinerary construction support, destination updates and tools to position the Philippines more effectively in the Indian market.

Reinforcing bilateral tourism cooperation, representatives from the Consulate General Office of the Philippines in Kolkata participate in their respective city sessions. Their presence signals continued support for strengthening tourism and trade relationships between India and the Philippines.
The training series also features MegaWorld Hotels & Resorts, whose representatives address travel partners and present their hospitality portfolio. Their participation supports improved understanding of accommodation options and destination preparedness for international visitor expectations.
