McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny Begins Its Countdown The new luxury shopping destination to the west of Paris unveils more brands and exciting opening plans.

New Delhi: McArthurGlen Group, Europe’s leader in designer outlet shopping, will open the doors of its highly anticipated new centre next Thursday 27 April. Located at exit 16 of the A13 motorway, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny is set just over 30 minutes from the Palace of Versailles and 10 minutes from the village of Giverny.

Combining fashion, art and gastronomy, Paris-Giverny will offer guests the opportunity to treat themselves to an array of prestigious international fashion brands at 30% off, while enjoying irresistible savings all year round.

Discover the finest luxury labels

McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will become home to a desirable mix of high-end brands: Moncler, Tod’s, Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, Missoni, Philipp Plein, Sergio Rossi, and Stella McCartney.

A Dolce & Gabbana boutique will also open in the coming months.

Home to the world’s best lifestyle brands

Favourite international premium and activewear labels will join the centre launch line-up: Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot, Zadig & Voltaire, Sessùn, Furla, Lacoste, Coach, Tommy Hilfiger, Fursac, Gant, Hackett, Aigle, Vanessa Bruno, Karl Lagerfeld, New Balance, Adidas, Puma, Under Armour, Victoria’s Secret, Rituals, and L’Oréal.

The German fashion and lifestyle house, BOSS, and global sportswear powerhouse, Nike, have signed on and will be opening their doors soon after.

A gastronomic experience

Those looking to have a treat when they visit can enjoy the centre’s own champagne bar, Bollicine, and dine at an authentic brasserie, Les Hortensias by Romain Taieb, which promises a delectable menu of locally sourced foods when it opens in June. These elegant gastronomic offerings will be joined by the French Gelato brand, Amorino, the Parisian macaroon temple, Ladurée, as well as Angelina serving up its world-famous hot chocolate.

A weekend of fun for all the family

When it opens to the public on Thursday 27 April, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will offer a lively schedule of family-friendly activities, with guests invited to shop throughout the entire 4-day launch weekend (Thursday 27-Sunday 30 April).

“We are planning a fun-packed selection of special events and activations to mark the opening of our eagerly awaited new shopping destination,” said Myriem Nieres-Tavernier, General Manager of McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny. “Our centre will play host to an outstanding mix of luxury and premium brands offering enticing outlet prices, superb gastronomic options to choose from, as well as entertaining art and leisure activities for the whole family. We are confident that Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny will very quickly establish itself as a favourite destination for a great day out when it opens in just over one week’s time.”

To officially kick off the centre’s launch festivities, guests are cordially invited to enjoy a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will see the opening weekend celebrations truly begin. This memorable occasion will be followed by live performances from a full marching band, stilt artists performing parades across the centre, giant bubble shows, and fun face painting for younger guests.

There will be so many exciting experiences on offer for centre guests young and old to enjoy. Providing spectacular views for miles around, an aerial trip on a 42-metre Ferris Wheel promises visitors an unrivalled perspective of the new centre and its surrounding countryside, with cotton candy and popcorn stands serving mouth-watering treats throughout the opening 4-day weekend.

A bespoke, covered outdoor play area will offer the perfect place for kids to experience their own McArthurGlen adventure, featuring a spectacular multi-story spiral slide.

There will be something fun for all ages. Visiting aesthetes will be able to discover a dedicated gallery space from internationally renowned experts in sculpture, Sladmore, and admire creations by local talent, including Normandy contemporary artist, Seb Toussaint, curated by The Musée des Impressionnismes Giverny.

The show-stopping opening weekend will reach a climax with an exclusive performance from French singer-songwriter, Tayc. In the afternoon of Sunday 30 April, the R&B star will treat crowds to a set of his top hits, which will be streamed live on the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Paris-Giverny Instagram account (@mcarthurglenparisgiverny) for those unable to party in-person.
