What measures have been taken to ensure the safety of guests at the hotel as well as transfers used by them?
X2 Koh Samui – A Spa Retreat has received the certificate of Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA), a cooperation between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Ministry of Public Health, the Department of Disease Control, the Department of Health and the Department of Health Service Support, as well as government and private sector organisations involved in the tourism industry. This is to ensure that both Thai and foreign tourists have a positive experience, that they are happy and confident in the sanitation and safety standards of our resort products and services. All safety and hygiene checklists are processed daily.
From the time the guest arrives at the airport, we offer only the resort’s private transfer with a qualified and well-trained driver and all safety & hygiene preparations. From temperature check at check-in, cleaning of the villa, hygienic food & beverage preparation as well as safe and hygienic spa services to the time the guest is to depart from the property, all checks are regularly maintained. Hence, guests can be confident about staying at X2 Koh Samui – A Spa Retreat.
Which travel group are you on the lookout for from India?
Our resort offers 26 private villas with a large swimming pool with oceanfront view, so all Indian leisure travellers, including couples and honeymooners, will have a great time with us. We also provide two-bedroom private pool villas, so all families or groups can be together when they stay with us. The resort can also cater for up to 60 guests for a wedding, with a beautiful lawn and an oceanfront view for any kind of wedding ceremony. So, this is perfect location and resort for all travellers.
Are any incentives being offered to Indian agents?
If we are talking about ‘static rate’ offers, we could consider providing incentives based on the number of room nights. For example, up to 500 room nights, they would get 2 per cent incentive and from 501-1000 room nights, they would get 3 per cent incentive. The room nights target would also depend on the former year performance and is negotiable.
