On this World Water Day, Karma Lakelands showcases its commitment to water conservation through innovative eco-friendly solutions. Among these, the introduction of bio product blocks stands out as a sustainable solution to water conservation, maintaining hygiene and efficiency while significantly reducing water consumption.
Previously the resort faced considerable challenges with high water consumption across its facilities. After the installation of these blocks, an in-depth analysis of water consumption data highlights a remarkable conservation of approximately 38 lakh liters since their introduction in 2018.
Furthermore, the resort employs rainwater-harvesting techniques to channel rainwater for sustainable environmental practices. This initiative also contributes to replenishing groundwater levels, promoting a greener ecosystem.
Recognizing the environmental impact of golf courses, Karma Lakelands has taken proactive measures to mitigate water usage. With a sprawling golf resort across 270 acres, water conservation is paramount. To address this, they have established a dedicated Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) with a capacity of 5,00,000 liters of sewage processed daily. Sewage is sourced from Klub Karma, Villas, and surrounding areas of the resort. The treated water, enriched with nutrients, is utilized for irrigation and horticulture purposes around the Klub, ensuring sustainable water management practices.
Karma Lakelands remains steadfast in its commitment to environmental stewardship, leveraging innovative solutions to conserve water resources and promote a sustainable future.
