Hyper-automation has been at the core of rising demand for B2B technology, says Sanjay Ghare, CEO, Vervotech. “The ability to automate complex processes has increasingly been in demand, not only for the sake of efficiency but also for cost-effectiveness,” he explains. “Companies now expect automation at every level—from complex backend processes to customer-facing workflows.”
According to Ghare, there’s also a broader behavioral shift in the industry. “They don’t just want a service provider; they want a partner who understands their business deeply, can grow with them, and help them future-proof their operations. The industry has matured, and with it, the expectations have too.”
Personalisation no longer just a trend
Ghare emphasises that personalisation has become “table stakes” in B2B tech, driven by consumer platforms like Netflix and Amazon. “People expect relevance. So yes, personalisation isn’t a trend anymore—it’s an expectation,” he states.
Vervotech adopts a client-centric approach to meet this demand. “We do customize for our clients. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all,” says Ghare. “Every client has their own tech stack—some have in-house solutions, some use white-label. We must adjust to their business logic.” The company spends significant time understanding client needs, ensuring seamless integration. “Whether it’s building custom rules for content prioritization or adding filters that suit their UX, we collaborate closely. At the end of the day, we win only when our client wins.”
India: From back-end to global leader
Ghare points to India’s rapidly maturing travel market as a key growth driver. “There’s scale—the accommodation market size will hit ₹1 trillion by the end of this financial year. It’s the demand side that dictates, and we’re still undersupplying,” he notes.
Moreover, global appetite for “Made in India” tech has surged. “We’re no longer just back-end shops. We’re building intelligent, product-first solutions that can scale worldwide,” he asserts. *“It’s no surprise that B2B travel-tech is booming here—it’s a mix of opportunity, timing, and talent.”
The next wave: Intelligent, context-aware automation
Ghare is optimistic about the future, stating that “travel-tech in India is no longer playing catch-up—it’s leading.” He adds, “What excites me the most is how Indian companies are solving deeply complex problems with simplicity and scale.”
At Vervotech, the focus is on the next evolution of travel technology. “The next wave will be powered by intelligent automation and tech that truly understands context—and we’re building for that future.” With hyper-automation and personalization reshaping B2B tech, Ghare’s insights highlight how adaptability and innovation will define the winners in this dynamic landscape.
