LOT Polish Airlines to Launch Warsaw–San Francisco Route from May 2026

LOT Polish Airlines will introduce a new direct service from Warsaw to San Francisco from 6 May 2026, expanding its North America network and strengthening connectivity for both leisure and business travellers. The airline will operate four weekly flights during the summer season using Boeing 787 Dreamliners featuring Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins.

The new route will connect Warsaw Chopin Airport with San Francisco International Airport every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday, with two different departure timings designed to offer increased schedule flexibility. Flight time is approximately 11.5 hours.

San Francisco becomes LOT’s seventh North American destination, joining Chicago, New York–JFK, New York–Newark, Los Angeles, Miami, and Toronto. The airline carried around 800,000 passengers between Poland and the United States in the last 12 months, reflecting the strong demand for transatlantic travel.

From India, LOT currently operates daily services to Warsaw, with nonstop departures from Delhi on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and from Mumbai on Sundays and Wednesdays — offering onward connectivity to the West Coast via its hub.

The new flights can be booked through all sales channels, including the LOT website and travel agency partners.
