Vietnam has introduced a digital arrival card for international air travellers, initially implemented at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City. The system requires pre-arrival online submission, aiming to streamline immigration processes, reduce paperwork, and enhance passenger processing efficiency at key entry points.
Travellers must complete passenger and travel information before departure, with digital validation replacing paper-based forms. Authorities indicated the system may expand to other airports nationwide. The move aligns with Vietnam’s broader digitalisation efforts in border control, improving traveller convenience while supporting efficient handling of rising international arrivals.
