The Leela Mumbai has announced the appointment of Ridhima Barha as Executive Assistant Manager – Rooms, strengthening its leadership team at a time when operational precision and guest personalisation are increasingly defining luxury hospitality performance in metro markets.
Barha brings over 16 years of experience across rooms division and front office operations, with a career trajectory that reflects consistent progression through high-volume, luxury environments. Prior to this appointment, she was associated with Marriott International, most recently serving as Room Division Manager after a tenure as Front Office Manager.
Her earlier roles span established brands including Trident Hotels and Shangri-La Hotels, along with experience in villa-led luxury operations at Lohono Stays (by Isprava). Notably, her career includes an earlier stint at The Leela Mumbai, marking a return to the property in a senior leadership capacity.
In her new role, Barha will oversee rooms operations, service delivery standards, and guest experience frameworks — areas that directly influence RevPAR performance and brand equity in competitive gateway cities like Mumbai. With airport adjacency and a strong MICE and corporate mix, The Leela Mumbai’s rooms division plays a critical role in both operational consistency and revenue optimisation.
Commenting on her appointment, Ridhima Barha, EAM – Rooms, The Leela Mumbai, said, “I am truly delighted to be stepping into this new chapter at The Leela Mumbai, a place that holds a very special place in my professional journey. Returning in a leadership capacity feels both humbling and inspiring. I look forward to collaborating with our talented teams to elevate the Rooms Division experience, blending personalised, intuitive service with strategic revenue excellence. Together, we will continue to strengthen our commitment to delivering refined Indian luxury while setting new benchmarks in operational distinction and guest satisfaction.”
For the trade, leadership appointments in rooms divisions are closely tied to service calibration, upsell strategies, and guest retention metrics — particularly in markets where international brands compete on experiential consistency as much as scale.
With this move, The Leela Mumbai reinforces its focus on operational depth and guest-centric leadership as it continues to position itself within Mumbai’s premium hospitality segment.
