India’s hotel sector opened 2026 on a strong note, with ARR rising to ₹10,000–10,200 in Q1 2026, up 6–8% year-on-year from Q1 2025 and 2–4% sequentially from Q4 2025, according to the HVS ANAROCK Hospitality Monitor – April 2026. Occupancy stood at 67–69%, while RevPAR reached ₹6,700–7,038. Growth was driven by corporate travel, MICE, and domestic demand. Despite geopolitical pressures and rising costs, hotels sustained pricing power across key markets.
