SOTC Travel has strengthened its focus on Australia as a key MICE destination through a strategic engagement in Mumbai in partnership with Tourism Australia. The initiative reflects increasing demand among Indian corporates for experiential, long-haul destinations supported by connectivity and established infrastructure.
SOTC Travel, in collaboration with Tourism Australia, hosted a MICE engagement in Mumbai, targeting senior corporate decision-makers across sectors. The event saw participation from CXOs and executives representing industries including BFSI, automotive, FMCG, electronics, manufacturing, paints, and trade.
The engagement was designed to position Australia as a preferred destination for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions, supported by its air connectivity, infrastructure, and range of experiences. Representatives from Tourism Australia, along with partners Singapore Airlines and Business Events Sydney, showcased destination offerings and accessibility for Indian corporates.
The format enabled a combination of business discussions and networking — facilitating one-on-one interactions between stakeholders and corporate participants. Attendees explored customised MICE programmes and destination-specific solutions aligned with evolving corporate requirements.
SOTC Travel continues to expand its MICE portfolio with a focus on long-haul destinations such as Australia. The company has delivered corporate programmes incorporating experiences including Sydney Harbour Bridge climbs, dining at Sydney Tower, gala events at the Melbourne Cricket Ground and Sydney Cricket Ground, helicopter coastal tours, vintage car city explorations, heritage train journeys, and winery engagements in Yarra Valley.
