Schengen visa appointment delays of three to eight weeks across major Indian metros are beginning to impact outbound travel from India this summer, with travellers postponing holidays and shifting towards destinations offering quicker e-visas or visa-free access. Imran Khan, Founder & CEO, Visawaale.Com (VWI GROUP) said, “While Schengen visa application volumes have increased by nearly 15–20 per cent this season, confirmed booking conversions have dropped by almost 10–15 per cent because travellers are unable to secure appointments within expected timelines.”
