Prateek Wadhwa, Founder, Dreamtrip4U, has been recognised by Tourism Australia with a symbolic wildlife adoption in partnership with Australia Zoo, reinforcing the destination’s conservation-led engagement with its trade community.

As part of a 12-month goodwill initiative, Wadhwa has been awarded the symbolic adoption of Ace, a wedge-tailed eagle — one of Australia’s most iconic birds of prey. The adoption certificate, dated 21 January 2026, formally records the recognition. An accompanying letter notes that the support contributes towards wildlife conservation, veterinary care, breeding programmes, habitat upgrades and rehabilitation efforts at Australia Zoo.

The wedge-tailed eagle (Aquila audax) is among the largest birds of prey in the world, with wingspans reaching up to 2.8 metres. Widespread across Australia, the species inhabits forests, grasslands and arid regions and plays a critical ecological role as an apex predator.

By linking specialist recognition with wildlife conservation, Tourism Australia underscores its broader positioning around sustainability, biodiversity and responsible travel — themes that increasingly shape outbound travel decisions from India.

For the trade, the initiative moves beyond symbolic appreciation. It reinforces Australia’s message that destination advocacy is intertwined with protecting the landscapes and wildlife that define the brand.
