PBP EcoAqua Marks 100 Orders, Signalling a Shift in India’s Hospitality Industry’s Approach to Bottled Water

PBP EcoAqua, one of India’s fastest-growing companies in automated and sustainable water bottling solutions, has announced the completion of 100 successful orders—a significant milestone reflecting growing industry confidence in its on-premise, eco-conscious hydration systems.

As hospitality brands face increasing pressure to balance sustainability commitments with operational efficiency, PBP EcoAqua’s solutions have seen strong adoption across the sector. Leading hotel groups—including Taj, ITC Hotels, JW Marriott, Fairmont, Raffles, Shangri-La, The Imperial, Novotel, Hilton, and InterContinental—have integrated the company’s technology into their operations. Their continued trust highlights the importance of reliability, hygiene, and scalability in driving meaningful and lasting change within hotels.

With over 100 active clients, partnerships across 30 hospitality brands, a presence in 39 cities, and a production capacity of one million bottles per month, PBP EcoAqua has crossed 53 million bottles produced to date, firmly positioning itself as a key player in India’s sustainable water ecosystem.

“Our 100-order milestone is not just a number—it represents trust earned over time,” said P. B. Prasad, Founder of PBP EcoAqua.
“Hotels don’t adopt solutions because they are idealistic; they adopt them because they work every single day. This milestone reinforces our belief that sustainability can scale only when it makes commercial and operational sense.”

Founded on the insight that hotels were grappling with rising costs, storage challenges, and plastic waste linked to conventional bottled water, PBP EcoAqua was designed to integrate seamlessly into hospitality workflows. Its fully automatic, in-house manufactured bottling plants feature advanced IoT-enabled controls, a proprietary CDI-based water treatment system, and compliance with CE certification standards, ensuring consistency, transparency, and safety at scale. The company is also aligned with EcoVadis sustainability benchmarks, reinforcing its globally oriented approach to responsible manufacturing.

Unlike early sustainability alternatives that struggled with reliability or increased workload for hotel teams, PBP EcoAqua’s model focuses on reducing procurement costs, simplifying logistics, and maintaining consistent water quality, while enabling hotels to significantly cut plastic usage—without compromising the guest experience.

What began as a practical solution for Indian hotels has evolved into a broader platform for sustainable hydration. Today, PBP EcoAqua serves over 100 hotels across 27 hospitality brands, produces approximately 1.5 million bottles per month, and ranks among the most reliable providers in the domestic market. Expansion efforts are now underway through international partnerships, with growing interest from resorts, eco-tourism destinations, hospitals, airports, and large-format hospitality environments.

As the company accelerates research and development and prepares to introduce next-generation innovations from 2026 onwards, the 100-order milestone stands as both a validation of its journey so far and a foundation for its next phase of growth—one where sustainability is not an aspiration, but a built-in operational standard.
