After years of anticipation, Noida International Airport is finally set to begin commercial operations from 15 June 2026, marking a major milestone for the NCR’s aviation infrastructure. The launch is expected to ease congestion at Delhi Airport while significantly improving connectivity for western Uttar Pradesh and the wider NCR region.
IndiGo will become the first airline to commence operations from the airport, with bookings now opening progressively across direct and trade channels. The airline will initially connect Noida International Airport in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh, India, with major metro cities as well as tier-II and tier-III destinations.
Initial routes and flight schedule
The inaugural schedule includes flights connecting Noida International Airport with Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Srinagar, Patna, and Varanasi.
The first operational flights are expected on the Lucknow–Noida and Noida–Bengaluru sectors on 15 June 2026.
Initial operating schedule from 15 June 2026:

From 16 June onwards, IndiGo will gradually add more daily services connecting Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Patna, Srinagar, Ahmedabad, and other domestic cities.
Fares and bookings
Ticket bookings have started opening on IndiGo’s website, mobile app, and authorised travel partner channels. Introductory fares are expected to remain dynamic depending on route demand and availability.
The launch is expected to trigger strong demand from travellers across Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, and western Uttar Pradesh, many of whom currently rely on Delhi Airport for domestic travel.
Major boost for NCR connectivity
Located along the Yamuna Expressway, Noida International Airport has been developed as a large-scale integrated aviation hub with multimodal road and rail connectivity. The airport’s first phase has an annual passenger handling capacity of 12 million travellers.
The project is expected to significantly strengthen regional aviation infrastructure while supporting tourism, logistics, hospitality, cargo, and commercial growth around the Yamuna Expressway corridor.
With flight schedules now going live and operations entering the final launch phase, Noida International Airport is poised to become a major gateway for North India’s next wave of aviation growth.
