The Ministry of Tourism India has unveiled two new promotional films in partnership with Netflix as part of a global campaign designed to showcase India’s cultural depth and travel experiences through cinematic storytelling.
The films are part of a curated series of 10 short promotional videos launched under the Incredible India collaboration with Netflix, which was first announced on World Tourism Day on 27 September 2025. The initiative uses the visual language and narrative style associated with popular streaming content to present India’s destinations to global audiences.
The two newly released films focus on distinct pillars of India’s tourism offering. One celebrates the country’s vibrant culture, living traditions and festivals, highlighting how rituals, community celebrations and heritage practices continue to shape everyday life across regions. The second film explores India’s culinary diversity, presenting the country’s flavours, regional cuisines and food traditions as a powerful gateway for travellers to experience its cultural richness.
According to officials, the collaboration reflects a growing recognition that storytelling through entertainment platforms can play a powerful role in tourism promotion. By drawing inspiration from globally recognised film and series formats, the campaign aims to spark curiosity among international audiences and encourage them to explore India beyond conventional travel narratives.
Through this partnership, the Ministry seeks to position India not only as a destination of heritage and landscapes but also as a living cultural experience, where festivals, food, traditions and communities create stories that travellers can witness firsthand.
The campaign will continue through the release of additional films over the coming months, each highlighting different facets of India’s tourism offering including adventure, wildlife and natural landscapes.
