With demand rising for resort-led weddings, staycations, and corporate offsites near major cities, hotel brands are expanding into urban-adjacent leisure markets. Marriott Hotels’ latest opening in the Aravali landscape reflects this shift, combining scale, accessibility, and experiential offerings close to Delhi NCR.
Marriott Hotels has announced the opening of Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR, marking the brand’s continued expansion in North India. The 158-room urban resort is positioned as a nature-led retreat within easy driving distance of Delhi NCR and Faridabad, catering to leisure travellers, destination celebrations, and corporate off-sites.
Nestled in the Aravali range, the resort has been designed as an immersive escape from the city while remaining easily accessible. Its contemporary architecture follows a free-flowing layout anchored around a signature two-tier pool, which acts as both a visual focal point and a social hub. Open-air walkways, landscaped gardens, and expansive green spaces create a strong connection with nature, complemented by interiors that emphasise natural light and refined finishes.
Owned by Chalet Hotels, the property strengthens the group’s growing portfolio of luxury and upscale hospitality destinations across India.
Commenting on the opening, Kiran Andicot, Senior Vice President – South Asia, Marriott International, said, “Delhi NCR has evolved into one of India’s most dynamic markets for destination weddings, short-break travel, and experience-led staycations, with travellers actively seeking resort environments that offer scale, accessibility, and a strong sense of place. Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR is strategically positioned to address this demand, offering an urban resort close to the capital.”
He added that the opening reinforces Marriott Hotels’ focus on expanding its footprint in high-growth urban-adjacent markets while delivering versatile resort experiences for leisure, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
Accommodation, dining, and wellness offerings
The resort features 158 rooms, villas, and suites designed for leisure travellers, families, and groups. All accommodation includes private balconies or patios overlooking the pool, landscaped gardens, or the Aravali surroundings, combining modern interiors with resort-style comfort.
A curated dining portfolio forms a key part of the guest experience. Aravali Kitchen offers all-day dining with regional Indian flavours and international favourites, while Huang presents Pan-Asian cuisine in a street-market-style setting. Glaze functions as a café by day and lounge by evening, and Olive Grove Poolside Bar provides an open-air venue for cocktails and light bites.
Wellness facilities include a full-service spa with therapy rooms and sauna facilities, along with a fully equipped fitness centre. Social and recreational spaces include a Club House for group interactions and Giggles Kids Club, a supervised activity zone for younger guests.
Focus on events and celebrations
Positioned as a destination for weddings and corporate events, the resort offers over 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor banqueting space across five venues, including expansive lawns.
Anuj Chaudhry, General Manager, Aravali Marriott Resort & Spa, Delhi NCR, said, “This opening represents the coming together of scale, setting, and service to create a resort experience that feels both accessible and immersive. Every element has been carefully planned to deliver comfort, ease, and enriching experiences for our guests.”
