Khajornrit Khwanmongkol currently serves as Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New Delhi Office, bringing over 22 years of leadership experience within TAT. His appointment underscores Thailand’s intent to deepen trade collaboration and enhance destination positioning in one of its priority long-haul source markets.
With expertise spanning international tourism marketing, destination management, and sustainable development, Khajornrit has played a central role in translating Thailand’s national tourism policies into global marketing strategies. His career includes managing Thailand’s presence at major international trade platforms such as ITB Berlin, Tourism EXPO Japan, and Floriade in the Netherlands.
Extensive domestic and international leadership
Prior to his current assignment, he served as Director of the Southern Market Division and Deputy Director for the Northeastern Region, contributing to domestic tourism growth and regional market development.
A strong advocate of sustainable and responsible tourism, Khajornrit has actively promoted Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green (BCG) Economy Model and Low Carbon Tourism initiatives.
