‘IHCL’s investment in global marketing three times more than India’s Ministry of Tourism’

Speaking at Tourism PowerHouse, Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and CEO, Indian Hotels Company Limited, highlighted that Taj Hotels’ international marketing investment is three times that of the Union Ministry of Tourism. He said destination marketing cannot succeed on product strength alone, and visibility is non-negotiable. Chhatwal stressed that large private players must actively complement government efforts to keep India visible at key global platforms and accelerate inbound tourism growth.
