Indian hospitality markets continued to show resilience ahead of May 2026, with Goa and Mumbai posting healthy on-the-books hotel occupancy levels across the Asia Pacific region, according to the latest Amadeus report. Goa Dabolim recorded 29 per cent occupancy while Mumbai touched 48 per cent, significantly ahead of Delhi and Chennai, which stood at 22 per cent each. Across Asia Pacific, Tokyo emerged as the strongest-performing market with 64 per cent occupancy, followed by Seoul at 59 per cent and Osaka at 58 per cent.
