India’s meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector continues to gain momentum as destinations, venues, and industry stakeholders seek new opportunities for growth. Against this backdrop, the India Convention Promotion Bureau (ICPB) has announced the 15th Conventions India Conclave (CIC) 2026, scheduled to take place in New Delhi this August.

The 15th Conventions India Conclave will be held from 19–21 August 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. Organised by ICPB in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, and jointly hosted by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) and Delhi Tourism, the event will focus on strengthening India’s position as a preferred global convention and meetings destination.

The conclave will be held under the theme, ‘Powering the Future of Innovation’, with discussions covering all major segments of the MICE industry, including incentives, exhibitions, association conferences, and corporate meetings.

According to ICPB, the event assumes added significance as it coincides with ongoing efforts to strengthen and restructure the organisation while reinforcing its role as the apex body promoting India’s convention industry globally.

Focus on business networking and industry growth

Positioned as one of South Asia’s leading MICE networking platforms, the conclave will bring together buyers, sellers, convention bureaus, destinations, hotels, venues, event organisers, and industry stakeholders.

The event will feature an exhibition and pre-scheduled B2B meetings, providing opportunities for participants to explore business partnerships and new avenues for growth. Organisers expect between 350 and 400 delegates, including domestic and international buyers, alongside 75–100 exhibitors.

Designed on the lines of international MICE events such as IBTM, IT&CMA, and IMEX, the conclave aims to facilitate business development while showcasing India’s capabilities as a meetings and conventions destination.

Industry sessions to address future trends

The two-day programme will include keynote addresses, panel discussions, and industry sessions examining emerging trends and opportunities across the meetings and events sector.

Topics on the agenda include technology innovation in the meetings industry, evolving expectations within the incentives market, and the growing synergy between the exhibition and conference sectors. International speakers are also expected to share global perspectives and best practices from the convention industry.

Chander Mansharamani, Vice Chairman, India Convention Promotion Bureau and Convention Chairman, CIC 2026, said the conclave will serve as a platform to promote India’s convention industry while creating opportunities for business development across the MICE ecosystem.

The event is expected to provide a forum for dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among stakeholders as India continues to strengthen its position in the global meetings and conventions landscape.
