The 7th HRAWI Conclave and Awards in Surat focused on food adulteration, fire safety, and adoption of alternative fuels in hospitality operations. Industry experts discussed induction cooking, kitchen safety, and sustainable practices, while stakeholders highlighted Surat’s growing tourism and hospitality potential.

Hosted by Hotel And Restaurant Association (Western India) (HRAWI), the conclave featured discussions on dairy product adulteration, preventive fire safety measures, and induction-based cooking systems as cleaner alternatives to LPG and PNG. Nikhil Madrasi, President, SGCCI, said Surat Economic Region has significant tourism potential and can emerge as a business-led leisure destination through strategic tourism development and stakeholder collaboration.
