India’s outbound travel narrative is increasingly shaped by sustained destination storytelling rather than short-term promotion. Confiance Communications’ reappointment as Türkiye Tourism’s India PR partner for a fifth consecutive term underscores the growing importance of long-horizon market building, cultural integration and trade-led engagement in destination marketing.
Confiance Communications has been reappointed as the official India PR Partner for the Türkiye Tourism Board, securing its fifth consecutive term and extending a partnership that began in 2022. The renewed mandate reflects the firm’s continued role in strengthening Türkiye’s positioning within India’s outbound tourism market.
Over the past four years, Confiance has led the development and execution of a 360-degree communications strategy for Türkiye, spanning films, OTT platforms, social media, press outreach, trade shows, cultural events and on-ground activations. The approach has focused on moving beyond conventional destination promotion to embed Türkiye within India’s mainstream entertainment, media and travel trade ecosystems.
A key pillar of this strategy has been high-impact collaborations with leading Bollywood production houses, including Yash Raj Films, using cinema and OTT platforms to position Türkiye as a cinematic and aspirational destination. These initiatives have been supported by partnerships with celebrities and influencers, leveraging digital storytelling to highlight Türkiye’s experiential travel offerings and cultural depth.
Confiance has also played a central role in strengthening Türkiye’s visibility within the Indian media through long-standing press relationships, curated familiarisation trips and targeted editorial engagements. Alongside this, the firm has utilised its network within the Indian travel fraternity to build alliances across high-value segments such as destination weddings, MICE, luxury and experiential travel, engaging corporates, wedding planners and high-net-worth travellers.
The partnership has further extended into trade-led initiatives, including collaborations with leading travel trade associations such as TAAI and OTOAI. Landmark activations over the years include six-city roadshows across Indian metros in 2024 and 2025, Turkish food and coffee festivals, conventions for travel agents and journalists, and immersive cultural showcases. These efforts have contributed to a steady rise in Indian visitor numbers to Türkiye, with consistent year-on-year growth since 2022.
Commenting on the renewed mandate, Bushra Ismail, Founder and Chief Strategist of Confiance Communications, said the partnership has focused on presenting Türkiye’s cultural identity while building meaningful industry collaborations that influence traveller perception and choice.
Türkiye Tourism authorities noted that Confiance’s understanding of Indian traveller aspirations and its cross-vertical engagement have been instrumental in positioning the destination for high-value tourism.
With the renewed mandate, Confiance will deepen Türkiye Tourism’s presence in India through expanded luxury travel collaborations, high-profile film and digital campaigns, and targeted initiatives across emerging segments such as medical and wellness tourism, reinforcing Türkiye’s relevance for Indian travellers in 2026.
