Rail Europe has integrated the BritRail Pass into its global B2B distribution ecosystem, reinforcing its position as a specialist in European rail passes and further strengthening its strategic Great Britain offering for travel agents, OTAs and tour operators worldwide.
The Haryana Legislative Assembly has passed a bill — the Haryana Travel Agents Registration and Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2026 — that makes registration for a travel agent mandatory. After CM Nayab Singh Saini tabled the amendment Bill in the House, Congress MLA from Beri, Raghuvir Singh Kadian said this Bill should be referred to the select committee of the assembly. This is being done to prevent fraud and illegal immigration and to discourage fraudulent outbound agents to develop a network outside India.
Gujarat is preparing to launch a new tourism policy aimed at accelerating tourism infrastructure and investment across the state. The policy is expected to enhance existing incentives for hotels, MICE infrastructure, and tourism facilities while encouraging new tourism segments, such as wellness and caravan tourism. “We are coming up with a new tourism policy. Presently we offer around 20% capital subsidy and 5–7% interest subsidy. We can expect that to increase,” said Prabhav Joshi, Commissioner of Tourism and Managing Director, TCGL.
The launch received an encouraging response from the MSME community, with 75 MSMEs registering on the portal during the event.
