Aman has announced its first ranch-inspired retreat, Amansanu in Texas Hill County, United States. This marks their sixth property in The States.
The destination’s name is derived from the Sanskrit words meaning, “peaceful peak”, providing a captivating landscape of hill ranges, limestone cliffs, and age-old carved creeks.
Nature-centric Location
Located in northwest of Austin, the property comprises a resort with standalone pavilions, along with premium fully serviced Aman-branded residences. The destination is coupled with an unobstructed, nature-facing view and a perfect blend of light and seasonal colours. It has been precisely crafted for each vantage point to provide a sense of privacy, seclusion, and connection with nature. Despite its sense of seclusion, the property is conveniently connected to the mainstream. The destination adds a new facet to Aman’s North American presence. It blends Amangiri’s desert modernisation and rugged landscape with Aman New York’s urban sanctuary. Amansanu, designed by Olson Kundig depicts the essence of the regional vernacular. Its design includes a main lodge, multiple dining concepts along with an expansive Aman Spa and Wellness Centre. The facility also harbours several sports activities and fully serviced stables, offering a contemporary ranch experience. Each set of the Aman-branded residences is within expansive hillside sites starting at ten acres. The residences’ open-plan living spaces, natural materials, and wide terraces compliment the resort’s architectural vision and allows a seamless blend into the surroundings.
