Aloke Singh, Managing Director of Air India Express, will step down on March 31 after leading the airline through rapid expansion and integration within the Tata Group’s aviation portfolio. During his tenure, the carrier expanded its fleet from 26 aircraft to over 100 and transitioned into a key low-cost player following the Air India acquisition.

Captain Hamish Maxwell will assume charge as accountable manager, overseeing operational continuity and regulatory compliance as the airline continues network growth and consolidation.
