Goa Tourism showcases culture and cuisine at Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations

Goa Tourism participated in the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas celebrations at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, from 1–15 November 2025, commemorating the 150ᵗʰ birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The Goa pavilion showcased the state’s culture, crafts and cuisine — with National Award recipient Vijay Lotlikar demonstrating coconut shell craft and Chef Shubra Kamat Shankwalkar presenting authentic Goan dishes at the Studio Kitchen on Goa & Jharkhand State Day.

The pavilion received visits from the Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat & Maharashtra, Shri Acharya Devvrat, Lt Governor of Delhi, Shri Vinai Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand, Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Gujarat, Shri Rushikesh Patel and Union Tourism Secretary Ms V Vidyavathi, IAS, among others.

Led by Dy Director of Tourism Smt Diksha Tari and Asst Director Shri Pradeep Binnar, Goa Tourism proudly celebrated India’s unity in diversity at this national event.
