Tourism Authority of Thailand (India) kickstarts ‘Thailand Build Back Better Together Campaign’

Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) India Offices, New Delhi and Mumbai have announced the launch of ‘Thailand Build Back Better Together’Campaign, which is a pan India Travel Agent Engagement.

The campaign will run from 30th August 2021 till 30th September 2021 . This month-long campaign will have weekly selfie at Virtual Photo Booth, promotions, contest on different themes, polls, articles, of destinations, tourism products and services as well as update travel situation in Thailand. The campaign will be hosted on TravTalk’s media channels.

Mr. Vachirachai Sirisumpan, Director, TAT, New Delhi Office, says, “The ‘Thailand Build Back Better Together’ campaign is an activity that Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) India offices are proud to launch to get connect and engagement with our travel trade partners in India.  As the name states, Thailand Building Back Better Together’, the campaign is to look ahead with positive energy that together we can build a stronger and better platform for our travel and tourism industry.”

“This campaign is an opportunity for travel agents in India to get updated information of destinations, tourism products and services as well as situation update in Thailand. In addition, the activity will help to reconnect travel agents in India with Travel and Tourism Suppliers in Thailand. ​As the situation of COVID-19 globally and especially in India has improved. Therefore, it is the right time to connect again,” he adds.

This is the second campaign for travel agent engagement after the successful and well received ‘Together Thailand’ campaign last year. Also, Thailand has started opening to welcome back international travellers, starting with Phuket Sandbox from 1st July, 2021, followed by Samui Island. Also, Phang Nga and Krabi has opened as combined destination with Phuket Sandbox.

Ms. Cholada Siddhivarn, Director, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Mumbai, shares, “Travel is a great way to relax and put the worries of everyday life behind you. For many people, however, 2020-2021 has thrown a wrench in their plans. Whether you’d planned an overseas adventure or a road trip to see your beloved family, you’ve had to cancel this year’s trips due to unforeseen circumstances. The #ThailandBetterTogther campaign is launched in a bid to cheer up the global traveller. The campaign tries to reach out to the audience and let them know that we are in it together. We all shall soon overcome the situation and be able to travel to our favourite destination. Till then, relax and create a new bucket list of places you would like to visit in Thailand. Just like you, we are also waiting with open arms to welcome you all.”

TAT continues to promote Thailand as ‘Top of the mind’ destination and look forward to have another successful campaign .
